After several exercises in 2-point perspective, students drew from various architectural styles to create a fantasy architectural scene. After working out the perspective in a detailed sketch, students then rendered their scene with graphite using delicate shading techniques.

Past or Futurescape Painting

After several acrylic landscape painting exercises, intermediate-level students created their own past or future landscape using techniques such as 2-point perspective.
Roadside Ruscha Painting

After exploring the landscapes of Ed Ruscha, and the mid-century phenomenon of vernacular architecture, beginning students made a 2-point perscpective vernacular building with a limited color palette in acrylic or tempera paint.
