These projects encouraged students to develop their art techniques and conceptual skills.

Lessons:
1. Beginning scratchboard drawing of a myth or legend
2. Beginning cross-contour drawing of the student's hand
3. AAdvanced/Intermediate multiple-layer serigraphs (screen prints)
4. Intermediate pen & ink designs
5. Graphite hybrid bird drawings, drawn from a collage.
6. Beginning sketchbook collages of spiral or branching forms.
7.Sketchbook project recontextualizing a random magazine image scrap.
8.Intermediate egg tempera paintngs (students had to make their own paint!)
9. Intermediate/Advanced Zipper Challenge. Students had to transform a zipper in an artwork.
10. Beginning student Archimboldo-inspired face collage.
